There are currently no Quagga or zebra mussels in North Coast waterways, including Lake Sonoma, Lake Mendocino and Ruth Lake. Let’s keep it that way!

If brought into a local waterway, a thumbnail-sized mussel called quagga and zebra mussels could force the closure of popular boating recreational waterways. This website is dedicated to educating our community about the threat the mussels pose to recreational opportunities, our environment and economy.
